I will be trying out some experimental plant shots that I'm labeling abstracts, just because I think nature gives us some of the best examples of abstract out there. I guess Plant & Nature would be the alternate category here...well, enjoy!

I like it. The monochrome and the dry, bare branches evokes a strong feeling of sadness in me for some reason. Works well as an abstract.

@Tracey: Thanks Tracey, this is my favorite of the 4 I'm posting, I think the contrast is the best. I'm glad if has an affect.
A nice image - your composition is good in this one and you used DoF very effectively. I wonder what it would look like in b&w - may have some nice contrast there to try and exploit......

@Chris: Yeah this is my personal favorite...I might try to check it out in a high contrast B&W, that might be neat!
